UK - Federation of Small Businesses: Confidence 'bounces back'

The Federation of Small Businesses' (FSB's) 'Voice of Small Business Index' (for the first three-month period of 2011) has revealed that employment intentions of small businesses weakened - even though overall business confidence has grown in the period since the end of last year.

As reported by freshbusinessthinking.com, the end of last year saw a balance of -2.5% of businesses who thought they would have to cut their employment levels. In reality, though, -6.5% decreased their staff numbers during the first quarter of this year.
